Overseeding – Terms and Conditions & Aftercare
Scope of Work
These Terms and Conditions apply to all overseeding services provided by Ladybird Lawncare Limited (“the Company”). Overseeding is a process that involves applying grass seed to an existing lawn, with the aim of improving its density and overall appearance. It is important to note that the outcome of overseeding can be influenced by factors outside the Company’s control, such as weather patterns, the condition of the soil, the previous health of the lawn, pest activity, and the aftercare provided by the customer.
Customer Aftercare Responsibilities
After overseeding, the customer takes full responsibility for ensuring the treated lawn is properly watered. In periods of dry, warm, or windy weather, it is essential to water the lawn little and often to keep the soil consistently moist. Generally, it is recommended to water lightly between one and three times per day for the first two to three weeks following overseeding, although this may vary depending on the prevailing weather conditions. The customer must ensure that the newly seeded areas do not dry out at any time during the germination process. In addition, foot traffic, mowing, and any heavy use of the lawn should be avoided until the new grass has become properly established.
Germination & Results
The Company cannot guarantee that grass seed will germinate successfully. Failure to water the lawn correctly can result in poor or failed germination. The Company accepts no liability for unsuccessful germination if the customer has not followed the watering and aftercare instructions provided. Furthermore, the Company is not responsible for poor results caused by extreme weather, pests, disease, birds, or challenging soil conditions.
Liability
Ladybird Lawncare Limited will carry out all overseeding work with reasonable care and skill. However, the Company is not responsible for any losses, damage, or unsatisfactory results that arise from a lack of appropriate aftercare or from events and circumstances beyond its control.
Acceptance of Terms
By accepting overseeding services from Ladybird Lawncare Limited, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
